Boys Hockey bows out...Girls Hockey holding the torch

After 3 regular periods and nearly 2 full OT periods of scoreless hockey, the #2 seeded Medway High School Boys Hockey team ended the Bulldogs season, scoring a sudden death goal with just 12 seconds remaining in the final OT period.  The Bulldogs were strong throughout the entire contest but struggled to find the back of the Mustang net.

A large, loud and proud Bulldog crowd made the hour trip to Bourne to support their team.  Even in defeat, it was a great event for CHS.

The Boys end their season with a record of 16-5-3 and yet another Hockomock League Davenport Title.  Congratulations go out to coach Shuman, his coaching staff and all of our hard working student athlete hockey players. Thanks for providing us with another awesome chapter of CHS hockey. You have made us proud!

The hockey torch is now being carried by the Girls team, who defeated #3 seeded, twice-beaten Shrewsbury last weekend, 2-1.  The team heads to Gallo Arena in Bourne on Saturday night, March 11th at 5:15 to face Winchester in the State Quarter-Final Round.
Ticket prices are $8 for adults and $6 for students/senior citizens
