Athletic Booster Club Newsletter
Welcome
back to the Canton Bulldog Booster’s Newsletter – or just welcome if you are
new to CHS. Our goal is to give you quick access to all sources of information
available to follow and support our Bulldogs Athletes – just click on the links
below. We also want to let you know about our organization and what the
Boosters group is accomplishing with your membership dollars. You can easily
forward the Newsletter to family or friends to keep them informed too!
Booster Club
News
Ø On September
25th, at the annual Athletics Night, Dave Merrigan (Boosters’
President) introduced the Boosters Club and some of its accomplishments:
leasing a school bus to safely transport teams to/from their events ~ funding a
trainer and equipment for the Scott Herr’s Health Center participating in the
Turf field’s maintenance ~ PA system to enhance the game experience at Memorial
Field ~ display cases to highlight the
teams’ accomplishments ~ to name just a few.
Ø During our
September 10th meeting, we elected our 2 newest members, Vice Presidents Jackie
Lodge and Karen Hayes. Karen’s focus will be on Fundraising. With many members
on the board parents of Seniors at Canton High, it is good to see new parents
involved. All are welcome to our
meetings.
Ø We discussed
the new Banner program for Corporate donors. Banners will be displayed at
various fields around campus. A great opportunity to be seen for local
businesses.
