Monday saw the undefeated Volleyball team remain perfect with a 3-0 win (25-14, 25-19, 25-9) over Stoughton High School at CHS. The win improved the team's record to 8-0. Meghan Hartnett ran the offense well collecting 12 assists while Avery Devoe and Elizabeth Hamilton led the offense. Danielle Arthur, Shay Connolly, Lauren Brady, Olivia Devoe and Julie Newton played great defense in the Davenport victory. The win also means that the team's record over the past two seasons is an incredible 29-1.
The team won off the court on Monday as well as they organized and dedicated their match to the Volley for Molly- a foundation set up to help fight ovarian cancer. The team and parents deserve a great deal of praise for their effort to raise money and awareness of this terrible disease.
