Lambert makes major impact on our Bulldogs

A packed house Tuesday night at CHS's Morse Auditorium was treated to an amazing message of resilience, grit and perseverance by visiting speaker Noelle Lambert.

Lambert is a US Para-Olympian who lost her left leg in a moped accident in the summer of 2016.  At the time, she was a D1 Lacrosse player at UMASS Lowell.

Lambert spoke to hundreds of our Bulldogs and their parents about her story of hard work, tragedy and triumph. A former contestant on Survivor- season 43, Lambert awed the CHS audience with her personal story.

The recounting of the actual moped accident, thoughts on emotional struggles going well beyond her physical challenges, her lessons on controlling what is in your control, and her sharing that she is actually grateful for her accident- as it made her the person she is today- were all major points shared throughout the presentation.

There were so many important lessons of sports, achievement, struggle and life that Bulldogs left last night with.  Noelle stayed answering questions, taking photos and meeting scores of student athletes well after the presentation ended.

We were all so fortunate to have been present. Kudos to the crowd who were so attentive and respectful all night.

The visit was made possible by the hard work of the CHS Athletic Booster Club. If you are not yet a member, please consider becoming one today!  This type of programing, which is such an impactful  part of the CHS educational athletics experience, would truly not be possible without the support of our Booster Club. We really hope you will become a member today! Thank you!
