Massaro appointed new Girls Varsity Ice Hockey Coach

Coach Marissa Massaro
The CHS Athletic Department is thrilled to announce the appointment of Marissa Massaro as our new Head Varsity Girls Ice Hockey Coach. Massaro takes the reins from Nikki Petrich, who served as the Bulldogs head coach for the past two seasons.

Massaro, a graduate of Brockton High School, played many different levels of hockey during a very successful playing career.  She was a two-year captain of NCAA Division 1 Franklin Pierce University and helped lead them to a NEWHA Championship in 2022. Massaro then went on to play hockey professionally in Europe in the EWHL. She was a member of the USA Women's National Ball Hockey team who won gold at the 2024 World Championships this past June.

Massaro's coaching experience has been with the Boston Junior Terriers Girls Program where she has both coached and been a key skills instructor for that highly successful program.

CHS is very excited to welcome Coach Massaro to the high school game. We are looking forward to watching her begin her educational athletics career as a Bulldog.

Coach Massaro had this to say upon her appointment-

"I am excited for the opportunity to be the next coach of the CHS Girls Ice Hockey team. I am looking forward to taking this next step in my coaching career with a program that is known for their success and excellence. I am eager to start working with these incredible student athletes."

Good luck Coach Massaro!
