Two Bulldog Coaches stepping away

This fall season has seen two of our most beloved Bulldog head coaches step away from their coaching duties here at CHS. Girls Lacrosse coach Casey Bradley recently accepted a position as the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Framingham State University while Stephanie Parker, our Varsity Cheer coach, has decided to put Cheer on the back burner as her own children are beginning to navigate the demanding and rewarding world of youth sports.
Coach Casey Bradley

Bradley is a 2016 graduate of CHS where she was a multi-sport captain but made her biggest impact on the lacrosse field.  She went on to play lacrosse at Framingham State. As an adult, she then mirrored her journey as a student athlete- coaching at CHS before returning to FSU.

Bradley has left a huge, positive mark on the Bulldog Girls Lacrosse program in her two seasons at the helm.  Bradley has led the team to two consecutive State Tournament appearances. She was honored by HockomockSports.com with Hock Girls Lacrosse Coach- Coach of the Year in 2022.

Former Bulldog Sierra Abbott, who was a captain on Bradley's 2023 squad, had this to say about her former coach-

"It was a privilege  to play for Coach Casey Bradley.  I looked forward to every practice and game as she not only motivated us as players, but cared for us as people. It is so excited to hear that she will lead the Framingham State University Lacrosse program. The Canton High girls lacrosse team will miss her and with her the best of luck!"

Parker is a member of the CHS Science Department and has served as Cheer Coach since 2019. During that time, the Cheer program has made a huge impact here at CHS.  They have competed annually in both the fall and winter seasons and punched their ticket to the Regionals and States.  Under Parker, the team has grown to include a JV squad, thus providing more opportunities for our student athletes.

Parker's squad is the heart and soul of the spirit of CHS Athletics. Whether it be at our rallies, football & basketball games, or other major school events, the team brings the entire school together, while at the same time- competing at a high level.

CHS Cheer captain Leah Factor, had this to say about Coach Parker as she exits the stage-

"We are so lucky to be coached by someone like Coach Parker!  Her kind, thoughtful and passionate energy helped us grow into a strong, confident team. We are so sad to see her go but are very thankful to have had the opportunity to have been on her team!"

Canton High School is fortunate to have had these two amazing leaders at the helm of our Girls Lacrosse and Cheer programs. They will be missed!
