Tennis Anyone?

It's been nearly 30 years since Canton High School students and Canton residents have had the opportunity to play on brand new tennis courts in town.  That will all change on November 2nd as the doors will open to the five brand new tennis courts at Canton High School.

The old courts had been in disrepair for years but still served as the home for our tennis teams, PE classes and hundreds of local tennis players. In 2014, the School Committee and Board of Selectmen worked with the Capital Outlay Committee and with a combination of various funding sources- a large part of which came from the CPA (Community Preservation Act) were able to get the project underway.

The actual work on the surface of the courts is now complete, but the facility will not open until Monday, November 2nd as the next two-plus weeks are critical to the curing process.

The Canton Athletic Department would like to thank all those who worked so hard to make these brand new courts a reality!
