Girls LAX remains unbeaten- A 17-17 tie with Mansfield in the first game of the season is the only thing between the Girls LAX team and a perfect start to the season- and that is pretty impressive.  Since the come-from-behind road tie against the Hornets, the Bulldogs have run off 5 straight victories, including three this week, downing OA, Ursuline and Milford.  The key to success this season has been the team's prolific scoring attack as the Bulldogs have put up no less than 12 goals in any single game this season. Leading this week's scoring charge were Mary McNeil, scoring an amazing dozen goals, and Jackie Merrigan, netting nine goals while showing amazing draw control in the first win of the week at OA. Some new faces emerged among the scoring ranks this week as Kelsey Trerice, Christine Ward, Lindsey Nolte, Shannon Proctor, and Mary Nee found the back of the net.

Softball ends week with big win- The Softball team had the bats going and the defense clicking on Thursday as they defeated visiting Watertown, 18-4. Sarah Reissfelder won her first game of the season on the mound and helped herself at the plate, launching a huge grand slam. The team also played a great game on Wednesday but lost an early lead to Sharon and fell 8-9.

Baseball overcomes big defect to beat Spellman- Dom Bires' single over the head of Cardinal Spellman's 3rd baseman during the 5th inning of Thursday's Baseball game at CHS capped off a 5-4 come-from-behind win for the 'Dogs. The team found themselves down 4-0 early on but Kevin Powers kept things together on the mound, throwing a complete game, while the bats came alive.  Pat Vartanian hit two deep doubles over the head of the left fielder in back-to-back innings to spark the comeback victory.

Boys Tennis blanks Quincy- The Boys Tennis team came alive on Thursday afternoon as they earned their first victory of the season, 5-0 over visiting Quincy. Sam Riemer and Nathan Maltz continued their fine play at 1st and 2nd singles respectively.

Girls Tennis sits at 4-2 after break even week- All of the Girls Tennis team members played great tennis in the the squad's 5-0 win over Oliver Ames on Monday. Erika Nannery remained unabated at 6-0 at first singles.

Boys LAX bounces back from two losses with two wins- After dropping back-to-back games, the Boys Lacrosse team stepped up and answered the call, earning two big wins over Oliver Ames and Milford. The OA game was a nail-biter, 4-3 while the Milford victory was a 7-0 shutout.

The track teams were overwhelmed by sheer numbers in their meets vs. OA this week. They look to rebound this week.
