Tim Taylor takes over as Head Boys Lacrosse Coach

The CHS Athletic Department is happy to announce the appointment of Tim Taylor as our Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse Coach.

Coach Tim Taylor
Taylor is a member of the Canton Police Department and currently serves as the School Resource Officer for the three elementary schools in town.

Officer Taylor will have a lifetime of lacrosse experiences to draw from as he embarks on his journey as Canton High's coach.  His ties to the program are deep.  He was a member of the first-ever CHS Lacrosse teams from 2000-2003.  He then went on to a successful four-year career at Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts.  He has been coaching on a volunteer basis with the CHS Boys Lacrosse program and with Canton Youth Lacrosse since 2015.

Taylor described his appointment as head coach as a "dream job."  He went on to say, "I'm looking forward to continuing the successes of this program and to taking steps to improve upon it.  We have a very talented pool of student athletes playing lacrosse at CHS.  The future looks great."

Things will be put in motion right away as there will be a date released soon for a player meeting to meet the new coach.  Keep your eye on this blog for more details.

Good luck to coach Taylor!
