For the 2nd time in as many weeks, a CHS Track & Field Record has been broken. This time it was on the girls' side as junior
Sarah Collins posted a time of 65.55 seconds in the 400m hurdles. The record-breaking performance took place on a grand stage- the D3 State Championships this past weekend at Reading High School. Collins finished 2nd in the state in the race- a tremendous feat. She moves on to compete in the All State Championships this Saturday afternoon at Fitchburg State University.
Previous Record Holder-
The previous record in the 400m hurdles was 66.05 and was set in 2010 by Colleen Healey.
