Sebastian's victories came in the 200 Freestyle and the 500 Freestyle. We believe this to be the first ever State Championship for a male swimmer at CHS-----maybe first ever for either gender. Congratulations to Sebastian on this amazing accomplishment.
Melendez's performances were not the only highlights of the weekend.
- Sean Mitchell finished 10th in the 50 Freestyle.
- The 200 Freestyle relay team of Diego Ferstler, Mitchell, Owen Guerini and Melendez took 5th.
On the girls side-
- Tiffany Ha finished 14th in 100 Freestyle and 7th in the Backstroke.
- The Medley Relay team of Ha, Briana Murphy, Maddie Nourse, and Dasol Lee took 26th.
