Boys Hockey streak comes to an end

The CHS Boys Hockey team fell to fellow-powerhouse Lincoln-Sudbury Wednesday night, 6-4 in front of a packed Canton Ice House. It was the team's first defeat in 44 games, bringing to an end a 43-game unbeaten streak dating back to the D2 South Semi-Final in 2018 when the 'Dogs fell to Plymouth South.

Losing is a part of sports- a very important part.  Without it, we would never really understand what it means to win. And it seems odd to celebrate a loss, but that is precisely what Bulldog Nation should be doing right now.  This loss marks the official setting of a 43-game unbeaten run that will go down in the Bulldog record books.

Congratulations to coach Shuman and the boys.  Time to get back to work at practice tomorrow and prepare for the next great chapter you can write in the CHS Hockey history books. We all look forward to it.
