On Tuesday, March 26th, Canton High School Girls Varsity Hockey coach Dennis Aldrich was honored by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Ice Hockey Officials Association with their Coach of the Year Award.Aldrich lead this year's Bulldog Girls Hockey team to a 12-6-5 record and a 2nd place finish in the Hockomock League.
Since taking over the reigns of the CHS Girls Hockey program in 2012, Aldrich has coached the Bulldogs to two State Championship Games (2017 and 2018) and League titles in 2013 and 2018. Most importantly, his teams have always represented the school and town with class. They have twice been awarded the MIAA Mulloy Sportsmanship Award (207 and 2019).
Canton High School is very proud of coach Aldrich on receiving this well-deserved honor.
