The Bulldogs have played consistently great golf during this first stretch of a half-dozen games en-route to a perfect record so far.
High School Golf 101- A match consists of 8 golfers from each school playing 9 holes. The best four scores from each team are added together and the lowest total score wins. Even though the level of difficulty varies greatly from course to course, anytime players are breaking 40 is a good day.So when I look at high school golf team scores, I look at any day under 160 as a great day. Many great individual performances have led the Bulldogs to the successful start including Jack Goyetch (who shot a 1-under par in the Sharon win), Joey Vaughn, Danny Powers, Chris Lavoie, Niko Donovan and Bubba McNeice.
