Callahan named Varsity Softball Coach

Bulldog nation is happy to announce the recent hiring of Tracy Callahan as our new Head Varsity Softball coach effective immediately.

Callahan, a 1999 graduate of Canton High School, currently teaches at the Galvin Middle School. Back in her playing days at CHS, she was two-sport standout.  As captain of both the field hockey team and the softball team, she made a major impact on both programs, playing at the varsity level of both all four years. Softball was where she received the most accolades, earning both the Hockomock MVP award and being honored as a Boston Globe All-Scholastic.  After her successful Bulldog career, she moved on to play collegiate softball at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, NH where she graduated in 2003.

"I am beyond thrilled to begin coaching at Canton High School," Callahan shared. "I can't wait to get started!"

Callahan takes over a program looking to grow with the support of the local Little League softball program. Good things are in the future for CHS Softball.
