Digital Ticketing back for this school year

As was the case during the 2022-23 school year,  tickets to Bulldog home games will be exclusively digital this school year.  That means purchasing our tickets will only be possible through GoFan- a digital platform on your smart phone or using a credit card.

This allows the CHS Athletic Department to track ticket purchases in a format which accounts for all purchases in a much more organized fashion. It also embraces the reality that fewer people are carrying cash with them these days. Digital ticketing provides an easy, quick way to purchase your tickets and gain entry at our gates.

Tickets this fall will be on sale for the following events-

  • All Home Varsity Football games
  • Evening/Night Soccer Games
  • All home tournament games for Football, Soccer, FH and Volleyball
People who struggle with the system, will NOT be turned away from our games.  We will make sure Bulldog event staff is present to assist.

There is no need to upload the GoFan app to your phone but it may make the process a little simpler for you.

Here are the ways to purchase tickets moving forward:

1. Pre-purchasing tickets- This is the way to go!!!! Visit our page on GoFan and follow instructions to purchase tickets. Link to CHS GoFan page  Your tickets will be emailed to you. You must have access to that email on your smartphone when you arrive at the gates.

2. Purchasing at the gate- If you wait to purchase tickets at the gate, the process will take a bit longer. CHS Athletic event staff will be present at the gate to assist in these purchases. You will need a credit card to make the purchase.  A smart phone makes the purchase much easier.

Ticket Prices-
General Admission- $5.50
Senior Citizen- $3
Under 8- FREE
NOTE- Thanksgiving Football and tournament games have a different cost structure.

Ed Gerety to headline CHS Athletics Parent/Student-athlete Night Presentation

All Bulldog student athletes must save the date of Wednesday, September 6th for our annual CHS Athletic Kick-off Night.  The event will run from 7:00-8:15pm at CHS's WWII Veterans' Memorial Field- "the turf."  In case of poor weather, the event will be held in the CHS auditorium.

This year's keynote speaker will be Ed Gerety.  Gerety is an enthusiastic speaker with an amazing message of excellence and the power of good.  He is AWESOME.  He last visited our CHS Athletics community of parents and student athletes in 2017.  He made a HUGE impact on everyone in attendance.  It will be a great night for our kids and parents.

The event is MANDATORY for any student currently playing a fall sport AND anyone considering joining a sport in the winter or spring seasons. We ask that each student athlete attend with at least one parent/guardian.

Here is a link to Ed Gerety's website.

A special thanks to the CHS Athletic Booster Club for making this night possible.  Our boosters will be present that night recruiting new members.  Please help this group of dedicated Bulldog parents as they work to support our student athlete experience.

See you on September 6th!

Coach Dan Kiser takes the CHS Boys Basketball reins

The Canton High School Athlteic Department is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dan Kiser as our new Boys Varsity Basketball Coach.

Coach Kiser with his former Randolph

Coach Kiser rose to the top of a strong pool of candidates.  He takes over after a two-year stint by coach Eric MacKinnon who led the Bulldogs through the past two seasons.

A veteran with an amazing resume, Kiser looks to bring his passion, knowledge and a player-centered focus to the position of Bulldog head coach.  He has been coaching high school and/or college for nearly three decades.  Here are some highlights:

CHS Athletic Director, Danny Erickson was thrilled to make the announcement-
Coach Kiser with Randolph
Head Coach Kalon Jenkins

"Coach Kiser is a perfect fit for our Boys Basketball program.  He is a player-centered coach who brings a big personality with him but one that really focusses on the student athlete.  His basketball IQ is top notch.  The number of high quality basketball coaches in the region who advocated for Dan to get this spot, really highlights his reputation. We are trilled to see him get started."

Coach Kiser had this to say upon his appointment-

"I am very excited about this opportunity to coach at Canton High School. My goal is to carry on the tradition that past coaches such as Coach Gordy, Aldrich, Devoll and MacKinnon have laid the foundation over the years. I would like to thank CHS administration for the trust they have shown in me. Lastly, i'd like to thank everyone at Randolph High School for their loyalty, hard work and dediation they have shown to me over the years. Now---Let's go Bulldogs!"
