Coach Cawley joins 300 win club!

Shout out to Trainer Kristen Aguiar on writing up this blog entry!

Coach Cawley surrounded by her team after win #300!
On Oct 19, 2024 Coach Pat Cawley netted her 300th Win as a Bulldog with the ladies taking down Westwood 3-1 in a highly competitive non-league matchup.

Twenty-four years ago Coach Cawley and Coach Kuncaitis advocated and brought volleyball to the Canton community. They worked together to build this program from the ground up. Coach Cawley coached the junior varsity and assisted varsity before taking over the program in 2007. She has coached 18 Hockomock League Championship teams, has coached in 2 state finals games, winning the state championship in 2019. Her overall record now stands at 302-80 (and counting) Cawley is a multi-time winner of both the Boston Globe Coach of the year as well as Hockomock Coach of the Year. She has been inducted into the MAVCA Hall of Fame and the New Agenda Northeast Hall of Fame.

Coach Amico the JV Coach had this to say about Coach Cawley: “Coach Cawley's coaching resume certainly speaks for itself, but what sets her apart as the best, is the person that she is. For those who know Coach Cawley no explanation is necessary, and honestly for those who don’t, no explanation can truly capture the remarkable person she is. Strong and determined. An encourager and supporter. Passionate and competitive. Team oriented and selfless. She instills a sense of confidence and worth in each young woman, on and off the court. Every athlete leaves this program knowing they are worthy, that they have a voice, and can make a difference in this world. Most of all they know they have a coach who cares and has their back.”

The Bulldogs are very lucky to have Coach Cawley on our staff as a coach and mentor. Congratulations Coach! Here’s to many more wins!!
