Important Information as Winter Contests Begin

NOTE------ Important updated POSTPONEMENT/RESCHEDULE INFO found at bottom of this blog post. 

Happy 2021! 

This week we kick off our winter season contests. Lots of important info below for Bulldog student athletes, families and fans. 

This week's upcoming action is listed below. 

Important information concerning spectator protocols-

  • NO Spectators permitted at Swim and Gymnastics meets. 
  • Only HOME fans are permitted at Basketball and Hockey games. Those fans are limited to immediate family members who live in homes with the student athlete. 
  • Canton fans will NOT be admitted to contests at away venues. 
Important details for eligible spectators of hockey/basketball-
  • No spectators will be admitted to the rink or the CHS building prior to 15 minutes before game time. 
  • All spectators must fill out our CHS Athletics Self-Screener PRIOR to attending. This must be done on the day of each game you attend. It can be found by clicking here. 
  • All spectators must sign in at our Covid-19 check-in table as you enter. 
  • Spectators must vacate the venue as soon as the game is over. 

Streaming info- In an effort to provide an opportunity for as many family members of our student athletes to watch our contests, we are providing as many games as possible in a live stream.   Please be patient with us as we attempt to get this done. 

HOME Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball and Hockey games should be available for LIVE STREAM at the Canton Community Television website. The link may not be available until shortly before  game time for each game but can be found by clicking here. 

HOME Freshmen and JV Basketball games will be streamed on our CHS Athletics Youtube channel- Click Here for the channel. 

HOME Gymnastics meets will be LIVE STREAMED on Periscope- https://www.pscp.tv/Gymnastics_CHS/follow

HOME Swim meets possible LIVE STREAM info TBA. 

AWAY contests MAY be streamed by the host school. We will share their streaming info through this blog as it becomes available.

Tuesday, January 5- 

Girls Basketball at Stoughton High (Fr. at 3:30pm, JV at 5:15pm, no Varsity game) VARSITY game rescheduled to 2/8 at 3:30pm 

Boys Basketball vs. Stoughton High at CHS (Fr. at 3:30pm, JV at 5:15pm, Varsity at 7:00pm)


Wednesday, January 6-

Gymnastics vs. Attleboro in a "virtual" meet at 2:15pm at Metro-South Gymnastics

Boys Varsity Hockey vs. Stoughton Postponed until 2/8 at 4:00pm......NEW GAME- vs. Attleboro at 4:00pm at Ponky. 

Girls Varsity Hockey vs. Franklin at Ponkapoag/Metropolis Rink at 6:20pm.

NEW GAME- Girls Varsity Basketball at North Attleboro at 6:30pm 


Thursday, January 7-

Boys Basketball at Stoughton High (Fr. at 3:30pm, JV at 5:15pm, Varsity at 7:00pm)

Girls Basketball vs. Stoughton at CHS (Fr. at 3:30pm, JV at 5:15pm, no Varsity game) VARSITY game rescheduled to 2/9 at 3:30pm 

Boys JV Hockey vs. Stoughton POSTPONED until 2/11 at 4:15pm. 


Friday, January 8-

Boys and Girls Swimming "virtual" meet vs. Stoughton at 3:00pm. 

Boys Varsity Ice Hockey vs. Stoughton POSTPONED until 2/9 time TBA

NEW GAME- Girls Varsity Basketball vs. North Attleboro at CHS at 5:00pm 


Saturday, January 9- 

Girls Varsity Hockey vs. Franklin at Franklin (Pirelli) at 2:30pm.
