Thanks to Bulldog nation for being so understanding of all of the moving parts and changes that have been taking place as we have attempted to get our spring season started in winter weather. The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) even took the unusual step of extending the end of the season by a week in order for schools to deal with the rough start.
HUGE thanks goes out to the CHS Athletic Booster Club for supporting our spring programs during this time and funding indoor training at local facilities.
We seem to be turning the corner and our fields, courts and tracks are now showing signs of being ready to go!
There have been several changes made to our upcoming game schedules in several sports. See below for details:
Baseball, Softball and Tennis- Contests vs. Attleboro and Mansfield originally scheduled for next week have been postponed. The new date for Opening Day for these sports will be Monday, April 9th vs. King Philip.
Boys Lacrosse- The games vs. Scituate scheduled for Monday, April 2nd have been postponed. Opening Day for Boys LAX is now Wednesday, April 4th vs. Oliver Ames.
Girls Lacrosse and Track & Field- No changes to Opening Day
All schedules are kept up-to-date on the Canton High School page of the MIAA website and the MIAA app.

Spring Sports Set for 3/19/18- Sport Specific Info
Despite a string of Nor'easters, the spring sports season gets rolling next Monday- March 19th. Below is important information for all those planning on participating:
1. Plan to bring your own water next week. With our field house still not open for the season due to cold temperatures, it's a good idea for you to bring your own water with you to your practice/tryout.
2. Having your parents/guardians register you online is only step one to being set for participating. You must also be sure that the athletic office has a physical exam on file from within the past 13 months.
3. Uncertain weather and field conditions will all cause schedules in the early season to be inconsistent. All spring student athletes must be prepared for a changing schedule.
