Bulldog Nation!
Lots of great stuff to share with all of you as our winter regular season marches toward a conclusion. We are so proud of all of our teams. Some of our programs will be wrapping up soon while others will hopefully entertain us for much longer!
Here is a recap of where our varsity teams are at this point in their seasons:
Girls Indoor Track-
Team Record: 4-1 (2nd in Davenport)
Notable Accomplishments- This team has solidified themselves as one of the top track and field teams in the Hockomock League, finishing with a final league record of 4-1. Only loss came to fellow undefeated Foxboro in a battle in the final dual meet of the season.
Biggest Wins/Performances- This team has competed all season long earning 4 hard fought and total team wins vs Stoughton, North Attleboro, Mansfield, and Oliver Ames. The latter 2 are always perennial powers in the Hock and teams we haven't beaten indoors (although did this past spring) in many years. |
| The 4x800 record holders! |
Individual Standouts- Senior Captain Chloe Dubuisson finished the Hockomock league dual meet season UNDEFEATED. She has competed in 3 individual events each meet and has won every one of them. Averaging 15 points a meet (the max possible) for a total of 75 individual points earned. The amazing part of this is that she has done it in a variety of events including the 55 hurdles, 300, 600, shot put, and high jump. Also holding the school record in the 55 hurdles and 300. This is no easy feat, but she is willing and able to do whatever is best for team success.
The 4x800 relay crushed the indoor school record by over 5 seconds at the Division 3 State Relay Championship Meet and currently sit at #2 in the Hockomock League and Division 3.
Nora Giannacopolous, Izzy Holland, Lexi Piazza, Maddie Driscoll
Thoughts from Coach Amico: "I am extremely proud of the season our team has put together so far this indoor season. From day one, our student-athletes have worked relentlessly, believed in themselves, supported one another, battled through challenges, and have been "All In" on the process.
Every athlete—whether competing at the JV or varsity level—has shown tremendous growth and improvement throughout the season. Their commitment, resilience, and team-first mindset are evident each day.
As we close the regular season with a 4–1 record and shift our focus to championship season, our ladies are prepared to continue competing with confidence and purpose. This team has earned every opportunity and I am excited to watch them continue to grow and leave their mark."
