The Canton
Bulldog’s volleyball team boasts the best record in the Hockomock league as the
season has come to an end. The Lady Bulldogs also finished the regular season
as Hockomock Champions. The Bulldogs head into the state tournament later on
this week as a likely candidate for the state title. Canton’s volleyball team
established themselves as a threat, despite shocking losses to King Philip and
Duxbury. With a 15-3 record—including victories against league rivals North
Attleboro, Mansfield, and Oliver Ames—the Bulldogs are not a team to sleep on
in the state tournament.
