Hockey games at Canton Sportsplex-Shea

Given the loss of our long-time home hockey rink this season, we are playing a majority of our games (boys and girls) on the road.  However, we do have some contests at the Canton Sportsplex (several this week) and some girls "home games" at Shea Rink in Quincy.

Please note the following:

1. Admission for these games will be $5 (senior citizens- $3). Booster Club membership gets you in for free! Consider joining and supporting our student athletes.
2. There are NO SEATS/BLEACHERS at the Canton Sportsplex. There are two areas to view the games from- along the boards/glass or the balcony. 
3. Attendance is LIMITED at the Canton Sportsplex. The event staff may stop admitting spectators at any point we believe it is necessary.  
4. Although we are standing along the boards, all fans are asked to refrain from banging on the boards for any reason. 
5. Canton Sportsplex is located at 5 Carver Circle, Canton. 
6. Shea Rink is located at 651 Willard St., Quincy, MA. 

MIAA App available for your smartphone

Every Bulldog fan with a smartphone should download the MIAA app!  The app is great. Users can personalize for school and team(s).  You can look up schedules, results, directions, rosters and other important info. It contains the official schedules for all Bulldog teams.

Apple users should search "MIAA" in the app store.

Android users should search "MIAA in googleplay.

Boys Hockey set to face league rival at Providence College

The defending Hock Davenport Champion Canton Bulldog hockey team will face off against defending Hock Kelley-Rex Champion Franklin Panthers on Friday night, December 18th at 7:00pm at Providence College- home of the D1 National Champion Friars.

This great venue will host the two great Hock teams in their first of two meetings this season.

We are pleased to announce that there will be no admission charged to this game. Thank you to our hosts for that!

CHS will be providing a Fan Bus for CHS students looking for transportation to the game. The cost of the bus will be $10/student- cash or check made out to the Town of Canton. Sign ups will run through Tuesday, December 15th. If there is not enough interest in a bus by that date, the bus will not run. Sign up now in the CHS Athletic Office OR with Mrs. Sullivan in the main office.

Shift in Event Ticket Prices

The Hockomock League recently announced that a new ticket price structure would be followed by all schools for league contests.

Beginning this winter season, ticket prices will be as follows:

Varsity Basketball Games (ticket sales begin approximately 1 hour prior to tip-off)-
General admission (adults and students)- $5
Senior Citizens- $3
Under 8- Free

Varsity Wrestling Dual Meets (ticket sales begin approximately 1 hour prior to start of meet)-
General admission (adults and students)- $5
Senior Citizens- $3
Under 8- Free

Varsity Hockey Games (ticket sales begin approximately 45 minutes prior to face-off)-
General admission (adults and students)- $5
Senior Citizens- $3
Under 8- Free

Indoor Track Meets at Reggie Lewis Center- 
Adults- $8
Students and Seniors- $5

JV Track Meets at Wheaton College-
General admission (adults and students)- $5
Senior Citizens- $3
Under 8- Free

Winter Sport User/Facility Fees Due Thursday

A REMINDER from the CHS Athletic Office:

User Fees are due for all winter sports participants on Thursday, December 10th.

Hockey, Gymnastics and Swim also have Facility Fees due on Thursday.

To ensure no interruption in athletic eligibility, please be sure to have this taken care of by Thursday.
